    It is reported that hand grenades manufactured by RUAG have been found in Syria. Similar cases came to light in 2012 and 2016. These grenades could be from the batch delivered to the United Arab Emirates in 2003/2004, which may well, by way of a breach of contractual warranties, have found their way to Syria.     RUAG earns approval for helicopters and propeller aircraft with Russian civil registration

    RUAG MRO Switzerland is now also approved for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of civil helicopters and propeller aircraft registered in Russia.     RUAG accomplishes first overhaul of PW206 engine

    For the first time, RUAG Aviation has overhauled a Pratt & Whitney Canada PW206 engine. The maintenance of the engine that is used in the Airbus H135 and H135M helicopters was carried out in the engine maintenance shop in Stans. The fact that the PW206 engines can now be maintained in-house at RUAG Aviation will help to increase the availability of the Swiss Air Force’s helicopter fleet.... More

    RUAG wins integration project for the Swiss Armed Forces

    RUAG has been awarded a project by the Swiss Federal Office for Defence Procurement (armasuisse) to develop the latest generation of disinfection and sterilisation systems and then to integrate them into mobile containers. The project encompasses a total of 14 systems. RUAG will commence work in the third quarter of 2018 and will deliver all systems by 2022.
